Forest Faerie Neck Warmer

Knitting Pattern

Price:FREE
Sizes:One size
Needle size:US#6 - 4 mm
Yarn Weight:DK / 8 ply (11 wpi)
Yardage:241 - 284 yards (220 - 260 m)

Large, shoulder-and-neck area covering neck warmer. The 2 layered cowl and the triangular breast piece makes this neck warmer perfect to wear with a v-neck shaped coat. The cowl is adjustable in length to adapt to the weather circumstances. The circumference of the turtleneck is approximately 36 cm, depending on gauge. The Forest Faerie Neck Warmer by Knitting Girl’s Lovely Knitting goes well with the Forest Faerie Hat. It can also be nicely combined with Knitting Girl’s Lovely Knitting’s Purple Delight Hat and Gloves, because of the double seed stitch pattern similarity.

  5. Hi,
I love your pattern, I knitted it in just over 2 hours from start to finish. I'm now knitting my 2nd one but am changing the pattern slightly so that the centre pattern of ribs goes all the way down to the bottom with the rest of the pattern used at the edges (so it looks like I'm wearing a ribbed sweater under a jacket) I hope you dont mind & I'll send you the pic when it's done. Thanks again for sharing ~ Love Jayne xx

  6. Hi! Thank you! That's really quick by the way. I think it took me longer :) If you have a picture, that would be great! Maybe I can start a gallery for FOs of readers! I'm looking forward to see the end result.

  9. I’m knitting this and having a problem figuring out how to cast on 24, knit the 36 stitches and then casting on 24. Do I have to start the double seed stitch one row earlier than the other 24 stitches.

  10. Is there an error in the pattern... where it says cast on 124 sts..should it be 24 sts?
