When do you knit your new Winter Sweater?

Hello all of you that take the time to look at my blog ;)
I was wondering when you all start knitting on the winter wear for next winter. I always seem to start knitting on it too late, and thus I can never wear my new garnment, hat or scarf for very long,... Do you start knitting already in summer time?
