  1. Hi I have had a go at Mini vintage as I asked you to alter the pattern to fit my daughter (20 months) Thanks for doing so! Unfortunately it is too tight! I can just force it on her head but she is not happy about it, I am going to undo and have another go to try and make it bigger. When I measured the hat at full stretch it was approx 45cm. Any advice on adjusting the pattern, again? Not sure if it is my knitting! but I did check my tension before I started and it was ok. I do have photo but not sure how to add yet! I will look into it.

  2. Hi! I was looking at the both of the patterns again. It quite hard to adjust it correctly right away, I guess. I think the regular beret would be to large... Since it starts off with 72 stitches. Maybe we should try something inbetween, like 68 stitches? According to the gauge that would ad an extra 2 cm, so i estimate when you stretch the hat that would be 3-4cm... Do you think that is enough or too much? Just let me know... If we get the starting stitches right, I just have to get the cable pattern to still look neat and symmetrical.

  4. I have cast on the stitches which seem fine, but am not sure on what to do next!

  8. Hi Marie!

I am a novice when it comes to knitting... Do you mind explaining the Round 20 for me... especially the part: put 2 on CN (front

  9. Hi! Put 2 on CN (front) means that you slip 2 stitches onto a cable needle (CN) and in this case you keep the cable needle holding these 2 stitches in front of the work, while you knit 2 stitches from the main needle. This will create a cable 'going' to the left.
