Weekend WIP

I started another project. A little while ago, I bought some acrylic yarn to knit another sweater for the winter. You can spot the chunky knitted cable sweaters everywhere nowadays (at least in the Netherlands), so I have to knit at least one. Last week, I made some swatches fort he cables and the gauge measurements: 


 After doing part of the calculations, I casted on. It knits up quite fast actually, I finished a whole skein (280 yards) in a few hours. I'm around the waist line now. The sweater will be fitted, and hourglass shaped. I know that knitted sweater should be a little loose, but that's just not how I like to wear them, so it will be fitted (but not to tight).
