Vintage Allure Beret Knitting Pattern

Sizes:Child, Small, Medium and Large
Needle size:US#6 - 4 mm
Yarn Weight:DK / 8 ply (11 wpi)
Yardage:50 - 70 grams / 130 - 182 meters
Vintage looking, low-weight beret which is easy in wear. Don’t mess up your hair, wear a beret instead of a beanie!
The head band can be stretched to fit head size. This pattern comes in four sizes:
- Child: ± 54 cm
- Small: ± 56 cm
- Medium: ± 58 cm
- Large: ± 60 cm

  1. Hi! I got to round 18 and found I couldnt purl 18 stitches only 16.My rounds after I had doubled each non cable stitch on rounds 16 and 17 came out to 16 stitches 4 cable, 20 stitches 4 cable all the way round. Have I gone wrong? I have the correct no of stitches but if I purl 18 to tstart the round it goes 2 stitches into the cable and will put the cable off all the way round.

  2. Oh no! It is a mistake, I'll correct it as soon as possible, I adapted the old pattern to make this one, but without knitting the beret myself, I didn't see the mistake. I'll try to fix it and post the next version ;)
