I was looking for an easy, straight forward project, so that I could use knitting to release some stress instead of creating more. I bought this beautiful drops sock yarn last year and it really was time to turn those balls of yarn into something pretty. To keep things simple I decided to use a pattern that was made for this yarn from Garnstudio. This detailed sock pattern looked really great, but after some pattern repeats I noticed that the self-striping yarn and the texture pattern did not go together very well. I do want to use the lacy pattern sometime, but with plain yarn.
